Caitlin Martin
Plays Sheena who having just turned thirty and still not having found her Mr Right, feels that love is destined to pass her by.

Jenny Long plays both Bookworm Bob's snobbish mother Ruby and Happy go lucky Sammy's volatile
wife Yvonne with consummate ease.

Andy Bradford
plays Frank the tight Barman, who can be a reliable shoulder to cry on, as long as you are paying.

Sheena's best friend is played by the sassy, very out spoken Elaine Abrol who pretends to be in her early thirties when really she's more approaching fifty!

Theo McGeough
plays Dandy Dandy a vain verbose cad, who has travelled all the way over from London in search of a wife/cleaner. Sheena beware!

Jim Young plays Cyril, Bookworm Bobs father who just happens to be stuck in a marriage of convenience with Ruby.

Ken Knocker
It may be pure coincidence that ageing hippie Ken is played by his namesake.
