My Sweetheart & Me (A tale of love and laughter)

Set in 1969 in the Suntree Bar, My Sweetheart & Me is a light-hearted romantic comedy stage musical that follows three couples navigating love, heartbreak, and hilarity in the fictional sleepy town of Cheerysville, Northern Ireland. Yvonne is at her fed up with her reckless husband “Happy” Sammy, who soon turns back to his old vices and spirals towards oblivion. Proud Ruby and layabout Cyril’s matrimony turns out to be built on rather sandy foundations that barring some kind of a miracle, cannot prevent a certain collapse. Meanwhile, their geeky looking son, Bookworm Bob woos Pretty Sheena but faces stiff competition from charming rogue, dastardly Dandy Dan. That is, if Sheena's protective no nonsense, sassy best friend Barbara, who pretends to be in her early twenties, when she's actually more approaching fifty, doesn't kill off both the love rivals first. All the while, tight-fisted landlord Frank keeps the drinks flowing, as romance and chaos unfold. Featuring fantastic sounding original songs, this feel-good show is sure to leave you smiling!
